List of work done by the unit in the month of July 2014

1)July 13 2014 was celebrated as VANAMAHOTSAVA in the parish. All the parish people along with the parish priest Fr. Jesudas D’costa, Fr. PremPrakash, vice presidentof the church Mr. Vincent Menezes,  secretary Mr. Rexon Miranda were gathered near the church verandah. Mr. Paul Miranda was elected as the ideal farmer for the year 2014. All the people gathered were provided with saplings to mark the need of planting trees in the environment.

2)On July 27th all the members of the ICYM unit gathered at the church and undertook the work of cleaning of thechurch premises. All the unwanted weeds grown around the church premises.  All the unwanted needs grown around the church hall, near the gate, outside the church compound, near the grotto and bus stand were removed and the place was cleaned.

3)On July 28th, the members of ICYM along with YCScarried out cleaning of the church  hall and the hall verandah, under the supervision of the parish priest Fr JesudasD’costa and YCS animator Mr. John LestonMonteiro.

4)On 29th of July all the members of ICYM celebrated the birthday of our parish priestFr. Jesudas D’costa. The cutting ceremony followed by awishing song was done in the morning. All the members gathered at the priest residence and celebrated the moment with Fr. Jesudas.

5)On 29th July, ICYM members helped the YCS unit of the parish in conducting their Varado level “BEGINNERS CAMP 2014” as a mark of supporting to young catholicstudents of our parish.

6)On 29th July, the members of ICYM along with the parish priest Fr. Jesudas D’costa visited the nearby mosque and wished all the fellow Muslims a happy and prosperous Eid. It was a mark of brotherhood and respect to the neighboring Muslim families on the occasion of Eid.
