May 2, 2017: Our parish was inaugurated and blessed on 2nd may 1983. To mark this day, as per the request made by the parish pastoral council members, it was agreed to keep the solemn Eucharistic celebration every year on the same day. It was also decided that sacrament of Eucharist will be given to the 1st Holy Communicants on the same day. Hence this year 1st Holy Communion and parish day were celebrated together.
Rev. Fr. Jesudas D’costa, the parish priest being the main celebrant, gave first communion to five children. Rev. Fr. Ronald Pinto, the parish of Uppinangady parish preached the homily and Rev. Fr. Antony Fernandes con-celebrated the mass. After the mass all the parishioners were given a piece of cake and the juice.
