Dec 24, 2016 : The nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated meaningfully as well as in grandeur. Beautifully put up crib, well decorated Church and twinkling and shining stars all around a prayerful atmosphere to be receptive to the birth of our Lord Jesus in every Christian faithful. The celebrations began with the:
Live Crib Presentation: The joyful event was the live crib that touched every one's heart. At sharp 7pm the Christmas Crib was inaugurated and blessed. Then the core of Angels, coming of the kings to offer homage to the King of kings was brought out in a attractive way. We all stopped inside the crib to receive the blessings of Baby Jesus and there after we gathered in the Church.
Eucharistic Celebration: The angelic voices of our parish sang the Christmas carols and invited everyone to give praise to God.
Fr Prem Cutinho celebrated the Holy Eucharist and preached a heart touching joyful Christmas message in his homily. Our parish priest Rev. Fr. Jesudas con-celebrated at the mass and prayed for all of us. We gave glory to God for all his blessings. Our parish priest thanked each and everyone for the helping hand rendered to the meaningful celebration.
Christmas Cultural Eve: The Holy Night of Babe Jesus was also a sharing of peace and joy. Together with Fr Jesudas and ICYM members all parishioners had a joyful cultural eve. The centre of attraction was a Tablo which was written, acted and directed by our Parish Priest. We had many lucky games, auctions and also skits dances. All of us cherished the sweetness of all the programs.
