Today in our Parish, we had the grand celebration of "Catechism Day (Doterncho Devas)". The Holy Eucharist was presided by Rev. Fr. Deepak Desa. He gave a beautiful message to our children to build up a christen future in his homily. The entire liturgy and choir was very good, inspiring everyone to pray better. It was conducted by our children. Our catechism children took an active participation at the liturgy. Good number of our children brought various offertory gifts. It was a real joy and treat to the eyes to see our children so devoutly and prayerfully managing to entire liturgy and choir.

After the mass, we had the short program of distributing prizes to our children in our church itself. Our children received prizes in various categories namely highest marks in catechism exams class wise, neatness and creativity in catechism note book and 100% attendance to the catechism class. Catechism teachers were duly remembered and appreciated for their free and dedicated service to our children all through the year. They too were given some good gifts by our Parish Priest Fr. Jesudas, after which he gave a beautiful message to our children as well as entire parishioners.
 
Then all our children served with a sumptuous breakfast at our church hall. Then we had short stage programme during which our parish council Vice President Mr. Vincent Menezes and Parish council Secretary Mr. Rexon Miranda addressed our children and gathering, encourage them to grow and mature in Christian faith and to excel in all fields. They too thanked our teachers for service. After which we had a cultural program for our children. From UKG to 10th standard all our children performed on the stage with something or the other. Program was of good standard and we could see the efforts and practice behind all these cultural programs. Everyone was so happy and glad at the end of the program. The stage program and cultural program was so systematically, beautifully anchored by Genita our class X student. On the whole it was a great day.
