The celebration of St. Anthony's ward feast began with the thanks giving mass on 13th October, 2013 at 7.30 am. For this occasion a special liturgy was prepared by the members of the ward. Members from all the families attended the mass in large numbers. Fr. Vernon Vas presided over the mass and preached a meaningful homily on the day's readings.
The celebrative part of the feast began at 12pm at Mr Ivan Cutinha's house. In the beginning a short but inspiring prayer service was conducted. Fr. Vernon Vas gave apt messages to the occasion. Mr Arun D'silva conducted various games for all the categories of the people which complimented greatly to increase the festive mood. Lunch was served at the end.
