Jan. 28: 13th January  2012 is a special day for our Parish as there were double celebrations . Firstly , it was the Birthday of our Vicar Rev. Fr. Vernon Vaz. Special prayers were held during the first mass at the end of which the Vice president  Mr. Vincent Menezes greeted the parish priest  with words and flowers. Parish pastoral council secretary Mrs. Gretta Aranha and Rev. Fr. Edwin F. Pinto were present. Ladoos were distributed to all people after each mass.

Secondly, It was the day of long awaited quiz competitions. After the first mass, 52 parishioners participated in 'written round'. Three highest scores in written quiz from each ward were qualified for oral quiz, conducted at Nithyadhar Sabha Bhavan. Fr. Edwin F. Pinto  was the qui master and Br. Prajwal Pereira OCD. assisted him. The quiz consisted  ten rounds namely International round, national round, Sports round, Dates and days round, Universal church round, Picture round, Music round, Diocese round, Bible round, and Parish round.


A good member of parishioners  too were present to encourage their representative. The results are-

I-  St. Joseph Ward

II - Nithyadhar ward

III - St Lawrence ward

The entire activity had been a pleasant one to all the participants and viewers.
